Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of videos.me, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, contributing a clip, or using a videos.me link, you agree to them.
1. The service
videos.me lets a creator collect video clips from contributors through a shared link and compiles them into a single film with a shareable watch page. Free collections have a collecting window, after which the public link turns off (the collection goes dormant); paid options keep a collection live or buy it out permanently.
2. Your content
- You own your videos. Creators own their collections; contributors own their clips.
- By submitting a clip to a collection, a contributor grants the collection's creator permission to include it in the compiled film and share that film, and grants us the license needed to host, process (e.g. transcode, thumbnail, stitch), and deliver it.
- You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload — your own footage, and permission from people who appear in it.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use videos.me to upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that you don't have rights to. Don't probe, overload, or abuse the service (including automated scraping or inflating view counts). We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
- Keep-it-live subscription: a recurring monthly charge that keeps a collection's public link active. Cancel any time; the collection returns to the standard dormancy schedule when the subscription ends.
- Buyout: a one-time charge that keeps the collection live permanently.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once the corresponding service (keeping a link live) has been delivered.
5. Retention and deletion
We never auto-delete your videos. Dormant collections keep their content privately available to the creator. Creators can delete clips or entire collections from their dashboard; deletion is permanent once our cleanup jobs run.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
7. Termination
You can stop using videos.me at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we'll make reasonable efforts to let you download your content first, except where the termination is for abuse.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
